Earn High School Dance Credits Through ISTD Examinations

Students enrolled in the School District 22 Dance Academy can participate in examinations through the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD) — one of the world’s most respected dance education organizations.
Exams are available in modern, contemporary, tap, and ballet, offering dancers clear progression and internationally recognized credentials. Each successful exam provides four external high school credits, giving students the chance to achieve both artistic and academic success. Tuition & Fees : SD22 Dance Academy – 1st Semester

• • Schedule: Half-days during A & B block

    • • Dance Performance & Technique: Grades 10–12

• • Tuition: $1,700 – $2,000

Optional Classes & Training – 2nd Semester (Feb–June)

• • Schedule: Evening classes, up to 6–8 hours per week for 5 months (Feb-June)

• • Dance Tuition: $830 – $1,170 + GST

• • Exam Fees (ISTD): Approx. $150 – $300 +GST (depending on level)

• • Competition Fees: Approx. $300 +GST

• • Costumes: Additional $150 (if involved in Competitions &/or Performances)

These optional classes provide extra technique, performance training, and preparation for exams or competitions.
